Intel G41 (GMA 4500) - tylko VESA

Płyta główna ASUS P5QPL-VM posiadająca zintegrowaną kartę Intel G41 (GMA 4500).
Przed i po kompilacji kernela 2.6.29 jedyne co można ustawić to tryb VESA - nie mogę włączyć 1440x900.

Parametry dla monitora (Hz, kHz) w xorg.conf są poprawne na 100% - wcześniej na nim działał Intel X3100 (driver: intel).

Nie wiem jak zrobić okienko "zwijane" gdy jest ono dość długie, więc nie bijcie mnie za ilość linijek :)

Zainstalowany już jest libdrm.2.4.5. Próbuję zainstalować xf86-video-intel-2.6.99.902 ale kończy się to tym:

Uruchomiłem ./configure ale wydaje mi się, że efekt był ten sam co polecenie ./autogen.sh.
Następnie wpisałem "make" i po kilku ekranach komunikatów w stylu "OK" pojawiło się coś takiego:

xf86-video-intel-2.4.3-i486-2 niestety nie ogsługuje chipsetu G41, ale żeby było śmieszniej to obługuje G43, G45.

Nie jestem aż tak bardzo w temacie, żeby skorzystać z tego co wkleiłeś :(

Po poprawieniu tej linijki, polecenie "make" daje pod koniec coś takiego:

Taki plik intel_xvmc.h to jest, ale nie tak jak ten poprzedni w /usr/src/include, tylko w katalogu z którego idzie kompilacja. Nie rozumiem tego :(

W czym edytowałeś ten plik bo sypie błędami jak by tam były jakieś śmieszne znaki (pewnie w unicode).

Edit:
Dziwne ale znacznik code ma inne kodowanie niz quote. Znaczki ' są inaczej kodowane i widać kod symbolu ;-)
