A masz wgrane sterowniki do tej karty ze strony producenta ??

Nie podałeś producenta oraz modelu karty graficznej. Nie masz zainstalowanych sterowników. Ściągnij takowe ze strony producenta i zainstaluj (w przypadku nvidii) lub skorzystaj z FAQ (ATI).

A co wyświetla glxinfo ?
Czy ty czasem nie masz włączonej opcjii RENDER w xorg.conf ?

Moim zdaniem wystarczy, że zainstalujesz najnowsze sterowniki z www.nvidia.com.
