Okiej, zrobiłem jak pisał pushpull... Ster na miejscu, Xy ustawione, odpalają się, direct rendering jest, ale czcionki w KDE zrobiły się dziwnie wielkie wszędzie i kanciaste, żadne zmiany ustawień nie dają rezutlatu.
A poza tym nierozwiązany pozostaje motywator tej instalacji stera, czyli Big Buck Bunny w 1280x720. Na driverze z jądra mi się nieźle ciął. Teraz na fglrx tnie się tak samo. WTF?? Sprzęt to HP NC6000, proc 1,6, pamięci 1gb, grafa ati 9600 32mb - no nie powie chyba, że to nie udźwignie takiego filmiku??
BTW czy to normalne, że odkąd używam tego stera, zwiesza się odhibernowywanie z użyciem TuxOnIce?

Temat stary odgrzewam. Pytanie: czy mając starego radeona 9200 i nowego slacka - mniej-więcej current da się odpalić fglrx'a? Czy istnieje jakakolwiek działająca konfiguracja wersji sterownika (musi być stara - najnowsza 8.28), wersji jądra, wersji x.org'a (mam nowego ale jak trzeba będzie zrobić downgrade to się nad tym zastanowie i ewentualnie jakiegoś pacza która działa??? Czy ktoś używa nowego slacka ze starym radeonem i działającym fglrx'em?
Chce wiedzieć tylko po to czy warto z tym walczyć.

PS. Może odpuścić sobie fglrxa i odpalić dwa monitory na opensourcewym sterowniku za pomocą xineramy lub mergefb? Jeśli ma ktoś działającego xorg.confa też bym się zainteresował.
